Update
Wow, can I say busy!?! It is better for me though to be busy. So update.... I started college classes. Well just one for right now and then more in the fall. I am just taking a reading class that is one night a week. I would like to start with getting just a one year certificate in business administration and then maybe go for my two year but not sure if I will have to work by then. We will see. I am really enjoying school! I have my midterm test this Thursday. Kind of nervous about that. Other than that I just keep really busy with the kids. Chasing Shayla and listening to Hayden's stories and making sure Kaelynn gets some attention in there somewhere. hehehe A lot of work but it has been good. I never thought this move was going to be life changing for me. I have gone through so much emotionally it isn't even funny. I am still climbing that mountain but I think that is a good thing. We finally had a sunny day her yesterday 70 degrees!!!!! Loved it! I also love how the trees are blooming here and there are flowers everywhere. We defiantly did not get that in Bend this time of year. Travis can't believe how many times he has already had to mow the lawn since we have been here. The grass has never stopped growing. lol
Kaelynn has been doing great in school still getting her A's and B's. Smart girl! I think the big news for her would be getting accepted to volunteer at the Oregon Zoo for the summer. She had a panel interview and they only could pick 150 out of 300 kids that applied. So proud of her. This is going to be a great confidence builder and fun fun fun! She will start after school gets out in June and has two six hour shifts a week. She is also going to volunteer at the Portland Humane Society as well once a week. She is going to stay busy which is great! I love the opportunities the big City offers for the kids. She will turn 16 this summer. Wow hard to believe. We have a great relationship and I hope it never changes.
Hayden started T-ball. His first game was last weekend and it was so great to have Grandpa there for his first game! It is sure cute to watch those little guys play. It really shows how little Hayden still is. He has been having fun playing outside with friends and enjoying the warm weather when we get it. Hayden lost his two bottom teeth since we have lived here. Now his front top tooth is loose. The floss wrapped around the tooth and the door knob has been successful. Cute!
Shayla has been busy busy busy busy!!!! She will run away from you any chance she gets when we walk outside. She keeps me on my toes. She talks a lot now. I can't really even think what her favorite thing to say is. She copies everything you say. She sure is happy just as long as she keeps busy.
