Santa Picture

We went and saw Santa today. At first Hayden didn't want to go. I think because he is starting to not believe. He asked Santa at the photo place if he was the real Santa and this Santa said well what do you think and showed him his coat that had the initials SC. Hayden thinks he is one of Santa's helpers but asked a lot of questions. I don't know how much longer he is going to believe in Santa. Well this Santa picture was sooooo much fun. We went and took Scooby to get a bath and brush and then got Shayla a cute outfit and I had the Santa hats for all of them. This picture I scanned into the computer so it isn't the best but I can't wait to get the other pictures. I was able to get Shayla to smile when it was just her and Santa. She looks like a little elf in the pictures. So funny!! Well Christmas is approaching fast. Is everyone done shopping? I still have a couple of things to get but I think I am pretty much done.

Thanksgiving Pics

Hello to all..... I put a slide show of pictures from Thanksgiving on the right hand side. We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you to the Kalita's and the Stoe's for such a great time and delicious food. We got to see how cows are milked and even learned how to roast our own coffee beans. Love it!! Travis's Aunt is the Betty of Betty Crocker. I learn so much from her. Don't know if I am going to have time to roast my own coffee beans though. LOL I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Love to all!

The First Week of Work

Ok, so it wasn't bad. I thought it actually was going to be much harder. What helped is Shayla is doing great with the babysitter. So if she is doing good I am doing good. She is taking the bottle great and likes this nipple that the babysitter has and so now I am on the hunt for this nipple. I might have to order it online. I go to see her at lunch which helps ALOT. I don't know if she notices that I am gone but I need that time to see her at lunch. The pumping has been going good and I get about three bottles a day. So so far I have had enough breast milk and it looks like I won't need to supplement. Thank goodness.

The weather here is getting cold. Got down to 19 degrees last night. I think the stressful times of being busy are approaching. We are going to be busy for the next few weekends. I feel the anxiety hitting already. It feels like I have so much to do so little time. I guess I need to keep reminding myself I am not alone. Hayden and Kaelynn are doing great in school. If only we could keep the germs away. Kaelynn got an ear infection and is trying to fight that off. Kaelynn and I are seeing the Midnight Premier of New Moon next week. So excited!!!

Going Back To Work

Wow, I never thought I would say this so soon. I have to go back to work for a little while starting on Monday. My heart is breaking. If we didn't need two incomes I would LOVE to stay home with the kids. Just until they get to be toddlers then we can ship them off. Just kidding. But I love the baby stage. I just have this feeling of wanting to be with Shayla all the time. I wouldn't mind an hour break or something but I won't see her for almost 10 hours throughout the day. The thought of it just kills me. I was blessed to not have to go back to work with my other two kids. I don't know how Mother's do this. It feels like she is being taken away from me. I feel like I am going to miss out on so much. Like her first roll over, her first time sitting up. I think I am planning on going over on my lunch break and nursing her so that way we get to see each other. I will be pumping on my breaks. So then I ask myself what about me. What about time for me? I will be getting home from work trying to see all of my kids and then try to make dinner and keep up with the house in a matter of four hours each night. Doesn't sound like a lot of time to me. Also, she is still waking up at night so hopefully I will be able to function throughout the day. I know I am a strong women so I will get through this some how. These next few months are going to be a blur. Well since it is Thanksgiving this month I am going to try and think of the many blessings that I do have each and every day and give thanks. I am hoping this will get me through these hard times.

More Pics...

Ok, so I am finally doing a blog. I am probably the last person. Well life has been busy. Wow, I can not believe school started the other day. Where has the time gone? We have been camping and fishing and we have been trying to be outside as much as possible before the cold weather comes. Kaelynn took some horse back riding lessons over the summer and Hayden took some soccer lessons over the summer. Kaelynn started eighth grade and loves it! Kaelynn has finally gotten me to read the Twilight series. I finished the first book in a week and now I am reading New Moon. I love it!! I am not a reader at all so this is very weird for my family to see me reading any chance I get. Hayden started in a new classroom at Preschool. He really enjoys his preschool especially being able to play with the girls. He is a ladies man. It is quite funny. I am going to have my hands full when he gets older. He is a big boy as well, he weighs 53 pounds. Well we have been enjoying our newest addition to the family. Shayla is now eight weeks old and lights up our lives. I am so enjoying being a mom again. Words can not express how I feel. I love how she will now look at me and give me the cutest smile. Here are just a few pictures over the summer. Looking forward to the fall leaves and colors.....
P.S. It was 33 degrees the other morning. Almost put Shayla in a snow suit to take Hayden to Preschool.
